As stated above UpSlide.js can be used for two purposes. Either for solely showcasing images in the background of a page. Or for creating one-page websites with impressive looking background images and a side menu for skipping between sections.

The difference between the two modes is the ability to overlay HTML content on top of the background images.

UpSlide.js additionally supports autoplay support, starting with the slideshow motion right away after page load and providing users with the ability to stop it at any moment they wish so.

There are around 30 configurable settings developers can play around with, along with a demo and lots of instructions in the README file to help them get started on their own implementations.
